2/ Reflect upon what you are doing. Thats important when you wish to do a good Tarbiyyah
3/ Whenever Allah talks about guidance to Kids it always comes from parents and it comes from the father. Mother is always there.
4/ We need to create a curriculum for Islamic education for making us a good human being - Adab, becoming a good father, a good wife, a good husband etc.
5/ Recite Quran with your Kids. Not hire a Qari to teach them. If you dont have time to read Quran, why does your child have to read it?
6/ You came out okay does not mean your children will come out Okay. You donot live in the same world.

"Sad to say but life is not the same 'back home' either! Where are our children getting information about Islam in Pakistan? The joint family system is close to extinction, and parents don't have time for their children. Mothers are too busy with social events and cooking, and dads are too busy making money to feed the forever non achievable demands from wife and children and society. So we need our own 'new' and revolutionary laws here too. Gone are the good days, we need solutions for today!"
